While this is significantly less than the country average of rent, it still means that an individual earning minimum wage in Wisconsin must work 82 hours each week to make rent.
In the Madison metropolitan area, the average rent for a two-bedroom apartment is $1,254 and in the Janesville-Beloit area the price of rent is $915.
